A few years ago, when the world felt upside down and out of control, I started a story that I didn’t realize was going to be something much bigger. I was writing to cope, to create a world where people who looked and loved like me could be free, safe, seen, and whole. A world where we all could.

It was also a world full of romance and spice, monsters and magic, folklore and mystery. Starring a protagonist who is (like me) Black, bi, and determined to make her mark on the world, it’s high fantasy that’s also high heat. The first book in the Aegis Saga, A Saga of Shields and Shadows is out now. I can’t wait for you to read it!
